Kristen’s commercial real estate experience includes accounting, taxation and investment management. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida. At Arcis, she is responsible for all the financial aspects of the investments and operations, including accounting, cash flow management, and tax planning, plus the back office operations. In addition, her real estate experience and tax knowledge are crucial to the acquisition and asset management process.

Prior to joining Arcis, Kristen was the Chief Financial Officer for Euro American Advisors for over seven years. Euro American is a Dutch owned real estate investment company that invests Dutch and German money in U.S. real estate. During her tenure at Euro American, the portfolio size grew substantially.

Kristen joined Euro American in 1996, and oversaw all aspects of the fiscal management of the company’s real estate portfolio. She managed the U.S. corporate accounts, including development and implementation of cash flow management and tax strategies. In addition, she was the asset manager in the multi-family portfolio and handled all personnel issues at the company.

Prior to joining Euro American, Kristen provided strategic tax consulting services involving real estate and partnership transactions for Arthur Andersen’s tax division. While in the tax department, she analyzed federal, state and local tax consequences of business decisions, developed tax strategy recommendations and actionable tax research. She advised on a range of issues including the tax aspects of the acquisitions and dispositions of real estate.

A cum laude graduate of Bucknell University, Kristen holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics. She is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Florida and is active in numerous social service organizations.
